What we believe about Tarot?

I use Tarot as a tool to assess and explore your personal and professional concerns with you. Once we have delved together into all aspects of your issue, we can determine potential actions and belief patterns that can serve to assist positive changes in your life. In using Tarot, my main purpose is not prediction. I can’t deny though, that I believe that Tarot IS an oracle, projecting the future, as well as a tool for self-assessment and self-help. 

My method of reading is to concentrate on interpreting the cards, based on what I have learned AND my intuition. Any forecasting comes naturally from that process. We are all blessed with free-will. A Tarot reading provides a still picture of the future, based on matters remaining as they are at the time of the reading. If you don’t like the photograph, you have the power to redo the picture until it looks as you wish. If you don’t act, things won’t change. 

Tarot is a symbolic language. Each of the cards has multiple potential meanings, depending on the surrounding cards. For example, Death (card 13) rarely means actual physical death. I translate the language of Tarot and work with you to achieve clarity, and a sense of preparedness and confidence, to face whatever has arisen. My role is to empower those who come to me for a Tarot reading, not to scare you or impress you with my ‘powers’. 

There can be no guarantee of results from Tarot. I am a Tarot reader. I am not a Doctor, a lawyer, or a financial advisor. I will recommend the you seek appropriate professional advice if the circumstances arise. Con men and women exist and they reflect badly on ethical Tarot readers. I follow the TABI ethical code. Remember, just as there are bad solicitors, there are bad Tarot readers. Use common sense when choosing either. It is my pleasure and responsibility to treat everybody with warmth, sensitivity, and compassion. I hold your reading and everything you share with me in the strictest confidence, subject only to the requirements of the law and morality. 

I am not entitled, nor do I wish, to judge your past, your present, or your future actions. I am a human interpreter of the cards. As such, sometimes I am fallible and get it wrong. Tarot cards impel, they don’t compel. You are the one who holds the future in your hands.
